A haunted house built by 11 year olds for adults around the concepts
of urban myths and legends.
The BLOOD!! DEATH!! SHOW! is a multi-artform installation constructed by JOF, in collaboration with 11 year olds that explores notions of fear, myth and nightmares as seen through the eyes of children. The Blood!! Death!! Show! Is a haunted house filled with spooky stories and urban myths created using film, sound, lighting and other theatrical devices. Once constructed, adults are invited to come, look, listen and explore this temporary and fragile world.
The BLOOD!! DEATH!! SHOW! Has been created and exhibited in theatres, art centres, galleries, schools and disused public spaces
The initial stages of this project was commissioned as part of the artist in residence programme at MillionMinutes in Islington, London.
